Ricky Medina currently serves as the Head of Business Development for NFL Players Inc., the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association. In this role, Medina oversees new revenue bearing initiatives and leads negotiations for new partnerships while representing the intellectual property for a group of more than 2,000 current NFL players, a brand responsible for generating $1.6 billion in annual retail sales. Medina founded and currently serves as an executive board member for the NFLPA’s athlete-driven accelerator, the OneTeam Collective. Medina also serves as Vice President, Business Development for the newly formed REP Worldwide, the first-of-its-kind group player representation business that provides licensing and brand management services to athlete-driven and sports properties. Founding partners of REP Worldwide include the United States Women’s National Team Players Association and Women’s National Basketball Players Association. Over the course of his career, Medina has excelled at taking novel ideas and executing on them. During his tenure with the Washington Nationals, Medina helped implement an industry-shaping ticketing initiative at Nationals Park, becoming North America’s first professional sports team to launch a digital-first loyalty & venue access program. Medina holds an International Business and Management degree from Dickinson College and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
