Senior Sport Science @ Hull City
A senior Sport Scientist with over 12 years experience working in elite sport. He is currently working at Hull City Football club, where he has worked for 5 years. He has previously worked with teams such as England Women and Scunthorpe United. He completed his PhD within the use of micro-technology to examine external load within football players. His thesis investigates the reliability, convergent validity and acute time alterations of player load/tri-axial accelerometer data during soccer specific activities. In addition, Dr. Barrett lectures on undergraduate sports coaching and performance modules at the University of Hull.
