What is the application and selection process for Startup & Innovation Pitches at the Sports Tech Conferences?
Startup & Innovation Demo Pitches are open to startups, established companies, and sports-related institutions with new innovations in Sports Analytics and Sports Technology. Each company interested in pitching their early-stage idea at each Sports Tech Conference must contact us for an application form.
What do you look for?
When selecting companies, we look at several criteria: novelty (newness of the sports analytics and sports technology), innovativeness (originality of the approach), potential (degree of impact in the sports analytics and sports tech industry), wow/X-factor, and diversity (comparison to the number of companies in the same “space” competing for a spot). Given the competitiveness of the application process, one of the major keys to being selected is to have something new, innovative and substantial to demo live on stage.
How does a company apply to present?
The application process consists of an in-depth online application. Applying to present is completely CONFIDENTIAL.
How much does it cost to apply?
There is no cost to apply.
How much does it cost to present at SAC?
There is no cost to present (i.e. it’s free) to presenters with a valid paid ticket.
When do applications close?
There is no set deadline. Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis at the discretion of the Sports Tech World Series organisers, sponsors and partners. Please contact us for more information, and to start the application process.
How are the Startup & Innovation Pitches structured?
The chosen companies will be given 7-10 minutes to present their pitch to the entire Sports Analytics and Sports Technology audience. Following the pitches, there will be plenty of time for networking with the influential sports analytics professionals in attendance.

Are all the Startup & Innovation Pitches companies going to present in the same session?
Yes, the pitches will be held during the afternoon session of each Sports Tech World Series Conference.
